The Chicago School offers two online programs that develop mastery of Applied Behavior Analysis principles. Each program meets the academic course work requirements to qualify to sit for the examination to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst (BCABA). Students with access to specifically defined field experience may complete this portion of their pre-examination requirements.
The Behavior Analyst Certification Board Inc. (BACB) is a national program that determines whether applicants meet the eligibility requirements for taking the BCBA or BCABA Examination. Professionals holding a master’s degree sit for the BCBA exam, and those holding only a bachelor’s degree sit for the BCABA exam. Candidates who successfully complete the required course work, relevant supervised field experience, and pass the examination administered by the BACB are awarded these credentials.
