Psychology Graduate Programs Offered in Chicago

Doctoral (Psy.D.)

Our Clinical Psychology doctorate program in Chicago is based on a practitioner/scholar model of training, which focuses on teaching students a broad knowledge of scientific and theoretical clinical psychology principles they can apply to a variety of clinical disorders in the diverse populations they will encounter in their professional practices.
The Chicago School offers prospective students the option of the nation’s first and only Business Psychology doctorate degree. Our graduates will gain the knowledge and experience needed to help a variety of businesses and individuals perform more effectively, solve problems, and grow professionally in today's global, multicultural work environment.
Find an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) doctoral program with a curriculum that includes classroom, real-world experience and internships. Students enrolled in our Psy.D. applied behavior analysis programs will be provided specialization options that include neurology, research methods, performance technologies, biological and institutional issues in behavior, as well as other specializations.

Education Specialist (Ed.S.)

Our educational specialist degree prepares graduates to help students, teachers, administrators, and parents overcome psychological obstacles to learning and personal development. Graduates filling the high demand for trained school psychology professionals will be able to effectively help with educational obstacles such as learning disabilities, family disruptions, and mental health issues.

Master's (M.A.)

Learn the theoretical frameworks and scientific bases of ABA clinical work with our Applied Behavior Analysis masters program. Graduates will also develop skills that will be beneficial to their professional practices such as the ability to appropriately determine the cause(s) of problem behavior, develop effective interventions, and properly assess outcomes.
Students enrolled in our Clinical Psychology programs with a specialization in counseling will gain the knowledge and develop the skills they need to become outstanding mental health counselors. Graduates of our Clinical Psychology Counseling programs work in a variety of areas including hospitals, substance abuse programs, private practices, and other fields.
Our Forensic Psychology graduate school is the only one of its kind in the Midwest. Students will learn from experienced faculty in a practitioner-focused curriculum and obtain the mastery need to effectively use psychology in legal and public policy arenas in an ethical, academically informed, and research-based manner.
Graduates of our Industrial Organizational Psychology program will gain a foundation in the theory of I/O psychology and research and learn valuable business psychology skills. This knowledge and bank of skills will allow graduates to take the lead in such things as personnel selection, organizational assessment, development, and interventions.
