Our Pioneering Curriculum

Since our founding in 1979, we have become recognized as innovators in the field, always exploring psychology’s potential to meet the evolving health, business, forensic, and human development needs of our society. We continue to remain on the cutting-edge, developing new programs that meet emerging needs. For example, our Business Psychology program was developed to equip students with a powerful balance between business acumen and expertise in psychology, to more effectively lead organizations in today’s behavior-driven workplace. As another example, we developed our Center for Latino Mental Health in response to the shortage of scholarly research and knowledge related to Latino mental health issues, and the increasing need for culturally competent professionals to serve this rapidly growing population.
